Hey all, this is my last cycling post, I promise!
So I have been cycling my tank for about 9 days now using Seachem Stability. I also have 6 Danio and some plants in my tank. After about 2 days, my ammonia reading went up to a solid .25, and had stayed there. However yesterday I got my first nitrite reading (.25) and tonight it was up to .50ish. The thing is, I thought that before you see Nitrites, you see an ammonia spike, which I never saw. On top of this, my ammonia readings seem to be going down, from a solid .25 all the way through yesterday, to a much more lighter greenish yellow that seems in between 0 and .25.
I skipped testing the water 2 days ago (So I guess Nitrites could have appeared 2 days ago and I just missed it, but still), so the only way I could have had an ammonia spike was on that day, with no rises before and a drastic drop in less than a day. Thats not possible, right?
Thanks!
Edit: Also I am not overfeeding.
