Just wanted to show off my studly male Cayman Brac rock iguana "Milo". He is about four years old and really starting to show his adult features. Hope you like.

Lovely critter!

Can you tell us something more about this beast, please?

Sure! He was produced by David Blair. I purchased him from a family who had an ad here on craigslist. The Ex-husband purchased him as a hatchling as a gift for there kids. As with most cases his newness wore off and he was exiled to an aquarium in their kitchen for a year because they were all scared of him. I got him thinking he was a Cuban hybrid and just wanting a neat "pet" as I have always been enamored with Cyclura. They told me that he was not a hybrid, but I was suspect and didn't really care. Recently I was able to confirm that he is pure Caymanensis through David Blair and a comparison of pure cayman Bracs kept at the West Coast Iguana Research Center by Mike Malfati. He started out with me as very defensive. Like most young Cyclura, but now allows all handling and hand feeding. He likes to follow me around my reptile building. Thanks.

He s GORGEOUS :D Are you shure he doesant have some lewisi blood on him?

Pretty sure there is no Lewisi. David Blair had a clutch Of Cayman Bracs in 06' and there is a scale pattern on his head that Lewisi and Nubila don't possess. The only blue he ever gets is a little in the face once in awhile. Which is consistent with Sister Island/Cayman Bracs. This is what I was told by the Cyclura pros anyway>!> Thanks

Very nice. Those are gorgeous iggs!

I say this because he seems to have some blueish hue into him, but I know as well that there are bluish caymanensis. Any way that doesant matter unless you plan to breed him in the future (in which case you may want to do a genetic test), that is one fine Cyclura, cant wait to get me one...or a few :D
