I heard about a fish called "Cynodon Gibbud", and can't find any info on it. All I know is that it looks like a type of Payara. Can anyone help me here?
Size?
Minimum Tank size?
Cost?
Where to get?
Tank Requirements?

I have a few that I want to sell. They get 10 inches and are very claustrophobic. Minimum tank size should be something 2' wide IMO, maybe a 125 would work since it is 6' long. Mine are 6" and I wouldn't put them in anything smaller than a 40 breeder or 75. I've lost a few to smashing the glass hard when they were being QTed in a 20L.

I know this thread is pretty old... But,

The cynodon are a type of payara but definately less frequently collected than the scombs. They eat nearly anything in thaey "think" they can get into their mouth.

I would keep them in a 55g tank at the bare minimum, gotta have gravel too or they chew up their nose swimming at themselves.

I actually have 2 of em up for grabs right now. about 5" or so $89.99
