cyprichromis leptosoma

I have a 55 gallon open and was thinking of doing a tanganyika tank, I want to get cyprichromis leptosoma and other tangs, what other fish do you guys recommend I put with the cyprichromis leptosoma? Thanks.

Comps, calvus and shell dwellers are good options

Also- I would avoid the jumbo varients. Need a bigger tank for those IMO. Stick with the utinta, mamalesa etc.

I was thinking of getting the utinta and calvus, but not sure what else I can fit in the tank thanks for the responses!

Mine do well with alto. comps and calvus....they interact peacefully with each other which is kinda relaxing to see.

I like the cyp, calvus, shelly combo alot. It looks really nice, covers all parts of the water too.

Yeah, bigger shellies would be the option if you want to keep them with Altolamps. Multis will get pestered/eaten.
