how big are some of u guys mooris I've heard all sorts of estimated growths from7to12ins I also here they grow like turtles walk like maybe an estimated time to be full size

They are slow growers. 23cm according to Dr Axelrod. That's about nine inches.

We have had them at around 25cm. Or about 10". A friend of mine has been breeding Moorii over 15 years, and he had a few exceptions where the male reached almost 30cm. But I don't believe that wild Moorii's will grow this large.

As stated Moorii's don't grow so fast it takes a couple of years to grow them to ~25cm

yes i would say 20-30cm is normal size for them.

Not found them to be fast growers at all.

They can keep 12" if you look after them right and keep them for a long time, but expect a good 7-8"

I just bought 3 of them within the last two weeks and they are only 2.5 inch so I'll let ya know in 2 yrs how big they are lol

The small one's (2"-2.5") that I acquired in 2005 are now 6.5".

The one's that were about 4" in 2005 are now about 8".

They're all females.

I have a female, and she is about 6.5" or so.
Males grow larger.

My biggest male is about 5" at 2 years old.
