I don’t think there is any help to be had but my FH Anakin has had this thing for months and it seems to bother me more than it does him…it hasn’t changed in size or color…on onset I treated with salt and metro…because it hasn’t worsened and doesn’t seem to stop him from eating or breathing i haven’t treated it more…plus I can’t identify what it is from google searches …thoughts? 4349BD62-258C-416A-8BEC-2BDF9D9C1033.jpeg

Likely a tumor of some sort. Lucky it’s not stopping it from eating. Take it to a vet and can have it resected out safely if ur able. Then will also know what it is.

Just a total long shot, but if that tumor originates further back in this throat, try an iodine supplement. It could be a thyroid condition. If it is, it's the worst I have ever seen. Hard to say with a tumor, there are so many kinds. I once helped a member on a cichlid forum resolve a large growth in his fishes mouth, by adding iodine to the water. Turned out the fish was suffering from goiter.

I actually have read that thread in my “research” and it was the first time I came across goiter as an option, placement is all wrong but iodine as a solution sounds awesome…not much to lose!
