Daily poop vac

I have a 120g in which I vac out the waste every other day. With my tanks flow pattern it all collects in a corner where it is easily picked up with only 10g of water needing to be replaced. This is in conjunction to my two regular 35% changes I still do in a week. I notice that when I dont do the in between cleaning the algae growth comes in just a little bit quicker (because it has more food?). The little bit of extra cleaning does keep the tank pretty sparkling clean for me.

isn't a daily poop vac essentially a water change? I mean when I do all my vacuuming, i probably take out at lesat 25% of the water, and then that get replaced. aka 25% water change every other day

Not necessarily, they do make battery powered vac's with filter bags that catch the poo and return the water back to the tank.
That is pretty stupid... i mean like might as well just change the water... a whole lot cleaner of a tank, especially if you have sensitive fish... if you have like a pacu or like a oscar then dat would be great to use. but really might as well just change the water every day so if you take out 10 percent each day you could house a ray in there. End up 70 percent water change each day. Wait do you have gravel, bare glass, or sand? I am ask this to tex

i have a bare bottom right now but the reason i ask is that i am in the starting process of a tank build i am drawing it all out and stuff and i am thinking of putting in a false bottom and all the poop will fall below to the real bottom. i will have two drains with valves under the tank and when i open a valve i hope that i can remove all the poop and stuff. i am trying to see if all this work will be worth it. i am not wanting to use a canister filter for mechanical because the poop will still be in the system. the drains on the bottom will remove the waste from the system like a daily poop vac would.
