I only have two 55g tanks and a 20g breeder tank and it takes about 1hr on weds and 2hrs on sunday to do my daily maintence. I can't imagine the work you all put into your big tanks.

Get a Python or Aqueaon Water Changer. It will elimiate the need for buckets and make doing water changes almost too easy.

I hear ya. My wife doesn't understand but i love doing them to for the most part. unless in tired.

JMHO

When you start going big you start spending more time and money on preparation, to reduce work load.

For example a drip system or automatic water changers reduces water changing time zero to 5 minutes a week.

A mag float or other such tool can reduce cleaning to only a few minutes, where as something like an algae scrubber can prevent algae all together, the same thing can be done with other plant filtration.

Feeding shouldn't take long at all and if it does you can use automatic feeders.

So if you don't like putting in a lot of time you have a lot of options.

I love that part, it easier to measure my fishes when the water is low!
