cool

btw columbian sharks prefer brackish water when older
:iagree: found that one out the hard way...
When they hit around 6" your going to want to start them brackish. I just lost my 6" on Tuesday.
Found a 3" at an lfs so I'm working on growing him up.

Goodluck with all your cats. I have a feeling Im going to be in the same shoes pretty quick... I'm just going to go for the pond right off the bat. Probably build two of them so I have a grow out pond.

Love to see some pics! :D

Happens to the best of us. Could be worse though. I'm thinking of chilling out on new additions for a while. Trying to get a slobbering catfish, and a firewood, and that's it for a long time. Well maybe a tig also lol.

Haha, I am NEVER living in a dorm again. Starting this project this summer at home. Of course I told my mom I would build her an outdoor pond first... Probably do some natives in that then get to work on the indoor ponds. Either that, or I'm getting chickens... haha

anyway, I could probably fit a kiddy pool in my dorm don't ya think? ;) along with my 4 other set ups? I just know the RA's would keel over if they wandered into my room:ROFL:

i have pics posted in other threads except for my new channel. i do not think he is a channel though he has little black spots on his body. from what i hear they should be all one color. think he might be a hybrid too.

Channels have black spots unless they are albino. Blue cats are solid colored. When large channels may not exhibit spots at all. I have never seen a channel hybrid for sale in our hobby although a blue x channel hybrid would make a great addition to my collection!!! I'd settle for just a regular blue catfish though lol. Hopefully lower mississippi stock! Hmmm, I sense a NA catfish tank comming on. Yeah my sense is kinda like spidey sense except I call mine catfishey sense!
