well i just found out the hard way that arowanas have sharp little teeth. he is about 8" and when im getting ready to feed he likes to jump in the cup i use to thaw frozen food in so i WAS touching him with my hand to move him away well lastnight he turned around and bit my finger ouch it stung a bit. well i just thout i would share this new bit of info i found hope u find it as funny as i did
 
My 16" Silver used to jump up bite my fingers when I was hand feeding him jumbo prawns......he drew a little blood a couple of times but I kept going back for more. :screwy:
 
Mine hits the top so hard that I try to fake him out now. I'll wave my hand over the opposite side of the tank to attract him there and then feed on the other side. He wants a piece of me, I can tell!!
 
My 20" jar has almost eaten my finger more than once.
Now I don't feed him by hand.

lol i remember i used to do this for my jardini , he would chase me until i lure to other side of the tank first
