Damage to inside of mouth?

Anyone had any experience with damage like this? Wondering what the cause and if any special precautions are necessary in treatment. I plan on treating with melafix and/or salt. Thanks.

Could it be a bacterial infection in the mouth ? I would treat with the melafix and keep up on your water changes so you have clean water condtions when you start treatment. None of the others have anything similar ? Is the fish eating still ?

Appetite is fine. Only the colony occupies the 260g, filtered by fx5 and ac110.

In reply to your post on cyphos. Appears to be torn flesh. Not cotton like or fungal from what I have observed.
