Bought a Delhezi and an ornate. I was shocked when i saw that the delhezi's left pelvic fin was missing. he's just 3 inches... will his pelvic fin grow back?

Then this ornate that i bought also has a problem... i thought that he liked to bend his body most of the time but when he (or she) swam up towards the surface i saw that his body was crooked. instead of having a streamlined straight body, ------_____ it was like that... will he die? or will he be fine?
what are the chances of survival for the two????
:nilly:

Post some pics ...Bkit naman d mo pinli ng mabuti temp..I just came from sams yestrday I saw an 8"Ornate for 600 ganda kala ko baka yun na kunin mo...Post mo pics so the others can see and give comments..

The ornate's bent spine is most likely permanent if it's due to a genetic defect. It may be a bruised back from shipping. If his back is curved from a mild injury, it should heal within 2-3 months. After that time you can pretty much figure the deformity is permanent. It should live a normal length life provided there's no paralysis along the rear third of its body. The del's pelvic fin can regenerate provided it's missing due to trauma and the base (peduncle) of the fin is intact. If the fin is missing due to a genetic defect then, it's unlikely to 'grow back' since it was never there in the 1st place.
