Damaged Pectoral Fin Rays

Hello Friends
My flowerhorn has pectoral fin damage on both of his pectoral fins. After I have watched the video on youtube (White spots on fishes pectoral fins - Fin Fractures explained)

I have realized that my flowerhorn has just same white spots on the fin rays like as the fish in the video.
In this situation I do not know how can I treat this broken rays. Does the rays grow and re generate again if I cut them just below the damaged point of the rays ?
I will be very satisfied if you inform me about this question.

Over the decades that I've been keeping fish, never have I trimmed fins. I've seen damaged fins heal back to normal, with the help of clean water and good nutrition. The white blemishes that occasionally show up in fin rays usually diminish over time. IMO you will probably do more harm than good if you operate on your fish.
