So I picked up some kind of royal pleco off of craigslist for 20 bucks, seemed like an awesome deal since there are no good LFS with anything but bristlenose, rubberlip and commons around here. So I have two questions, first what are all the different names/numbers for royals so I can attempt to id this fish. Secondly, the tail seems to be split almost to the base, so is it possible that this will heal up and become one solid tail again or will it always be split in two?

Week or two max for it to grow back in. Just feed well and keep up with the water changes.
