Damn good LFS!!!! stoopid impulse buys!

Today..

I walked into 1 of my LFS, not intending to buy ANYTHING, however as soon as i walkd up stairs to the cichlid part of the store, i was greeted by the madest/most agro male umbee i have ever seen..I was within 6 feet of the tank and it was already attacking the glass and flaring up at me! LOL it was almost love at fist sight....Being the moron that i am, i had to have it there n then, so i bought it.. $250.00, BUT..there is a catch...i have to get rid of my 15inch Jardini, and it's tank mates.. which is sad..cause i love my jar....!! After much thinkin ive decided that i'm gonna trade my jardini in for it...I'm just hoping i havent made a terrible mistake...

I pick up this blue speckled monster tomorrow...i will post pics in the photo lounge...
The moral of this lil story..never ever go to ur LFS with the intent of only browsing lol! it never works out!!!

Umbees are amazing fish and if you can house it, I say go for it!
How big is it by the way?

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying". They're just fish that I forgot I had planned to get.

The choice was all yours, I hope you are happy with it. You are right though, never go browsing the fish store unless you have no money on you.
