My 35 gallon aquarium just leaked all over my life. On Jules Verne's birthday no less! May Poseidon bless my poor fish.

Should have posted this in the lesson learned section because I just learned not to buy aquariums at second-hand stores without making sure they don't leak first! They assured me that they test aquariums when they get them so I thought I'd be fine. I'm going to raise a ruckus there tomorrow morning and hopefully get a new one.

Happy Jules Verne day yo.

I normally make it common practice to reseal every second-hand tank I buy. But resealing isn't for everyone. Anyone who has done it knows it's a pain in the ...you know.

Sorry this happened to you. in the mean time, do you have a rubbermaid or sterilite tub you can keep the fish in?

that sucks! I long did you have the tank before it started leaking?

it started leaking immediately. :(

Yes they're in a big tub, about 25 or 30 gallons. They have a submersible filter/bubbler and a heater in there as well the live swords and fake plant from the tank. They should be fine as wine. I'm gonna hit up store as soon as they open and hopefully come home with something bigger and better!

I hadn't laughed at all today, until now.
I find no humor in the leak, merely the way you've written your post.

Well they gave me a really crappy deal on a 29 gal. 4 of my 7 cardinals died. Do you think a 50% water change is safe? I don't want to dump all the water from the bucket that had the dead fish in it.
