well folk my columbians keep fighting

but its bad this time

they fight across the tank, ramming into the other fish, even at night, when everone is asleep and they just ram into every fish as they go at each other.

my FH was cowering in a corner for crying out loud.

so yea just thought id let everyone know

i might just get rid of one or both.

during feeding time right now, only my aro came up to eat, which was odd, and of coarse the two cats where having a royal rumble.

Sorry to hear about the fighting

Sorry to hear that but that’s! The joy of keeping large fish my main tank has been spot on for months, then while I was away fishing in France my female Dovii went mental beat the:swear: out of my Oscar my TSN my knife fish and my jag took her out every thing is fine, well its getting there. But it all started when I took the JD/Texas out he was the dominant fish then as soon as he came out she went :swear: mental.

no no, ones not picking on the other

they are BOTH at it, neither backs down.

Columbian cats (Arius seemani)? How big?
It does sound like you need to take one out of the tank.
Since it is kept with an aro I amm assuming this is a fully FW tank, if so keep a very close eye on any scrapes or bruises the cats sustain as they are notorious for skin infection if kept without salt. The most common reccomendations reccomend 1.005-1.015 sg for them, increasing to 1.015-1.020 sg as adults.

they are both footers guppy

At that size the first couple places I checked suggest 1 cup salt per 5 gallons (1.005+ sg).
If the water you are using is working great, but still watch for bacterial infection where they get banged up. I do think you need to move one of them.
