I have 2 3 stripe damsels in my tank and they have been in for 24 hours. But the food that my lfs had me buy was chichlid staple. It is a floating pellet, the water on top of my tank is always moving so i didnt know if they would be able to get it. I wanted to know if this would be ok for the fish to eat even though it is a chichlid or tropical fish food?

flake food is flake food. It should be fine for the time being untill you can get some marine food. Get some Mysis or Brine shrimp too, they love that.
I would never give marine fish cichlid food different diet's and food mix's you could unplug pump will feeding then plug back in after they eat get them some flake food or pellet's or frozen.

Thats what i was thinking but thats what she gave me i figured she would know more about it than me but i guess not. They havent even touched it yet.
