ok so its 20 days since my 3x IT's ate anything as my mission to get them to take pellets winds up!. how long should it take roughly? and can anyone offer any tips to help me out a little?

atm im soaking cichlid gold and sinking pellets in bloodworm then feeding, my 2 At's are eating fine but the indo's are just hardcore tuff.

The 6" and 4" should be fine for about a month of not eating but you might have to give in in a few days with the smaller one. if all else fails, get them eating market shrimp and stuff the shrimp with pellets. Slowly ween them off the shirmp and they will just take the pellets.

thats what ive tried to do, i was feeding prawn with both pellets mentioned above, and i slowly reduced the prawn to none, but they just will not give in...

It sucks with Dats. I was able to get my big one on after 2 days lol. My small ones don't even acknowledge them still. You just have to tell yourself they're going to eat or die. 9 out of 10 times, they'll eat.

Try medium or large floaters pelllets such as hikari gold also. They may come up when starved at night with lights off. You'll hear them attack the water.

i feed a mix of floating an sinking,.my 2 AT's take the floaters no problems, its just the IT's that will not...ah well ill just press on and keep an eye on things....cheers

Good to hear at least one gave in. Usually the others will catch on soon after. Good luck!
