i dont see the humor. and i dont doubt it grew in that tank. some asian people buy them for goodluck not even thinking about the actually needs of the fish. my LFS near me had to refuse so many purchases from older asian folks as they always wanted the biggest aro in the room, yet they have the smallest tank possible.
Well, i've also seen it where ppl have been telling new fishkeeper that the rule of thumb is 1" per gallon. Although it applies in limited cases, ppl think "oh.. ok - i have 20 gals - this will be good for up to 20" of fish". Too bad no one dispels this rule of thumb for new fishkeepers when it comes to monster fish.
THAT IS MESSED UP!!!! that arowana needs t oget out of that tank right now!! i had mine in a 30 for a year and i felt bad so i put him into a 125 long. he is about to outgrow it so if anyone wants to buy it, just PM me and ill be glad to send u a pic of it.
that obviously was staged... i doubt very much that that is how the arro lives...also, i dont see how it is possible for the fish to grow up in that tank to the size it is...
just for the record... i did the same thing when i was moving houses and setting up my tanks... so i had the option of a bucket or a tank just like that one to temp. store him in...and if i would have had a digi cam on hand, id have also taken a pic us for a laugh...

I doubt it is.. I knew someone who grew one in a 20g long, stupidly didn't realize how fast they grow, it was as long as the tank and died a short time after it got big. I had offered to take it when it was alive until they could get another tank. But some people are too stubborn. Guarentee 50% of silvers sold end up in something similar.
