Is there a danger of bacteria or virus transferring from
Rays to human?
Recently i lost all my old rays due to introducing new rays into my pond :(
The 2 new rays are still in my pond .
I need to fex something with the bottom drain of the pond. Would it be safe to
Go into the pond ?

I never heard of bacteria or virus transferring from any fish to human. As many times I've had aquarium water on my lips and hands in the aquarium you should be good. That is of course the fish are healthy without disease.

I know nothing about rays but there are zoonotic diseases like mycobacterium that can transfer from fish to humans but it seems to be rare. I’ve never heard of anyone getting it
