Just let the meds work. I dont know the dosing instructions of your meds, but I usually do a 50% water change BEFORE starting the meds, and 3 days after finishing dosing.

well im using aquarium salt, and the med's ingrediants are formalin and malachite greer. but u guys think 85 degrees is it to hot?
It's fine. Maximize the oxygen levels as high temperature has very low dissolved oxygen and formalin can also deplete it. Both formalin and malachite green degrade in water very easily. They are also carcinogenic so handle the med with care. A redose every 24-36 hours will work since these ingredients bind easily with organic matter and as already explained, will degrade quickly. Keep a watch on your water parameters as you will likely lose your beneficial bacteria to the toxic treatments and expect high levels of ammonia and nitrite.
if you can/want you can dose more often then the meds say (not more than 2 times daily), but only if the standard does isn't doing enough. Ideally this would be done in quarentine, but since your past that stage and the ick is in the system your going to have to really watch your parameters as Lupin already said.
