Well I guess its my own fault.
I am usually pretty good about feeding my fish a varied diet. But this past Friday, one of my LFS donated me a bag of 500 superworms. I guess somehow in transit the bag they were in got wet (I didnt know they came in bags I usually get them in cups) and they all spilled out and got all over. So one of the guys just dumped it all in a plastic bag and threw it in the fridge. They said they didnt want to take the time to sort them all out or whatever so they said I could just have them. I was more than happy to take them but I went crazy feeding them to my fish all weekend. Hey it looked like they would never run out.
So now my arowana doesnt wanna eat pellets anymore. All the other fish still dart and lunge at them. Oh well guess I will just have to starve it until it starts taking the other stuff again.
I still have a crapload of superworms too.

I am, had to pop in and say "Hi".

I just picked up a 7" Green Severum from another MFK'r and he's cruising around. My tank has been so empty since my Aro flew south, it's nice to have something with a bit of size, he's a chubby dude, definately a worthy MonsterFish for his species!!

Not as exciting as an Aro, but just right for now. It's weird having a quiet fishtank!

I like Severums. They have such personality. I had a huge Turq. in my 240gal. for several years. That fish could swim up, flip over backward , and dive down. Pretty funny. I'm growing out another now in a 75gal. to replace my old friend who died. The little one is growing and showing his own personality already. Swimming to the front of the tank begging for food!
