Dap All-Purpose Adhesive Sealant for aquariums????

Bought some to seal a tank. It's says on the tube that it is aquarium safe and safe with all freshwater and salwater fish. The reviews on the Home Depot site were pretty good also. My question is, has anyone every had a problem with this stuff or is it truly safe. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it's safe and good for lil repairs and stuff . But would really suck to use for a bigger project. You'd want a silicone you could use from a gun like the GE I windows and doors %100 silicone in the big tubes. That's also fish safe and can be bought at home depot.

+1...and from my experience it adheres better to old silicone than GE 1 because its adhesive/silicone. I even used it to attach my diy styro BG to liquid rubber. I removed the BG but the silicone was left sticking to the liquid rubber. So as stated by MP, its ok for small repairs but a PITA for sealing. I wish it comes in plastic tubes like GE 1.
