my polypterus wont eat anything but fish. shouldnt they be getting other things

My polys eat live fish, bloodworms, crayfish, cut squid, market raw shrimp, earthworms, and chicken hearts. All live foods are gut-loaded before being fed out.

The new arrivals at work always will eat shrimp pellets right away.

My bichir will eat anything. I feed them pellets, sinking shrimp sticks and blood worms.

be patient...they will start eating prepared foods in time. Again, shrimp pellets, shrimp, smelt, beefheart can be future staples. G/L

If you cant get them to eat anything else (you should though) use a vitamin in it like Vitachem, it's tissue soluable.

most of my bichirs eat meaty frozen foods like shrimp & mussles.. occasionally they eat beefheart as well but most of them love to eat superworms when i give them as treats..

im having problems with my endlicheri though which does not eat much and is always hidding..
