Darn, I'm fresh out of centipedes

It says something about feeding your fish centipedes twice a week. Do the wild fish ever eat centipedes? Maybe it relates to some Asian lore or custom. What's up with this?

frogs and centerpedes are readily available as feeders in asia.

it's not a must diet..though the aro do eat centipeds in wild, insects are common food for wild aro.
but it's said centipedes and cockroachs would make the aro's color deeper and shining.
btw. i dont believe it though many keepers in china feed their aro with those ugly insects...

heard the same on other forums. i would like to try it with my jar and silver just to see if it would make any difference, but centipedes are hard to find in my backyard

lol..they are sold in my lfs for about 1 buck per 2.

edit: if you buy more than 10, it would be about 0.3 buck per centipede. but i still think it's too expensive as fish food!
