I'm with Aro #4, my super snazzy dipstick Aro just got dropeye. He spooked and bashed his head into the bottom of the tank and now he's got dropeye. I've been very lucky, first time I've had an Aro get it. It wasn't diet, I know this subject is old and boring.

The change in behavior is so drastic though. He acts more like he's blind in that eye. He was settling nicely, now he spooks constantly, it has completely changed his entire demeanor. Poor guy. I know he"ll just have to get used to the change but it is still a bummer

Ah shame about your aro meiling. Sure it will adapt to his/her new situation in good time.
It has always been my belief that drop eye is caused by physical injury to the eye as apposed to diet. But it is a debate that will be never ending until science pops into gear on the subject.

One thing about arows is they are so unpredictable.. even the calmest of them have their days where they just go off.. sorry to hear he injured himself.. Arows are strong but hard keepers..

Still awaiting pics Meiling................

Sorry to hear that..:(

I know I know I know! I'm so frustrated with pics, I have a great new Canon S3 IS and right now am having major internet connection problems, I'm living remote, dialup only but my connection to the internet isn't holding long enough to upload pics, the weather is really bad right now, it does afftect the phone lines, It's 5 degrees outside and last weekend we had an unreal storm, winds clocked at 130 mph the strongest gust..it all affects my internet and it's really driving me nuts. I'm working on it. I'm considering sattellite but the heavy snowstorms will affect that too.....so it will happen , the pics........

sorry ur aro spooked n now has dropeye. my younger aro just recently started takin shape on his dropeye. i was hoping he wouldn't get it cuz i had him for a year now and he JUST got it last month but its not bad. just more eye fat above the eye but not point down all crazy like my bigger one.

ahh... this suck... Just hope it'll recover a least a bit to it's usual self. But as long the fish is eating, it's just matter of time it'll be back to it's old self.:)
