Hi guys,

I have managed to find me someone able to get me a niger stingray. I was wondering if anyone had kept this species before?

Theres not much info other than they get to 16" across the disk.

If any one has any pointers to husbandry information that would be great. Time to soup up the filtration on the tank

They primarily feed on aquatic insects and they don't live that long compared to the South American FW rays.
Aren't those IUCN redlisted right now???

According to wikipedia they live for about 5 years. Currently marked as vulnerable by IUCDN and are not listed in the CITES appendices.
