How often do you guys feed your dats??? I used to feed once every other day, but got tired of doing frequent H2O changes. I now feed them once a week and do much less H2O changes. Its been 3 weeks of once a week feeding and they're doing fine.

How big are they? If they are still small, I would keep up the "every other day" routine just to make sure they get the nutrition they need while still growing.
i tried to power feed mine but just made my tank dirty due to datnoids being picky. so once a day. different type of food for different fish.
yeah i got a mixture of fishes so whateva the dats dont eat the bichir take care of and plus im on top of the water changes so i dont worrie.
yea man. I'm getting lazy with the H2O changes. My dats are small, ranging from 3 to 7 inches. Hmm...I'll try this once a week feeds for a little longer and see how they do. I'm thinking if a dat can go months without eating, it should have no problem eating just once a week.JLau;2818747; said:
