Dat getting picked on...what to do?

Hi folks,

I have a 7" dat and a 10" dat. The 10" is picking on the 7" one. I like the 7" one a lot better...should I...

1. Get rid of the 10"?
2. Buy 1 or 2 more so there won't be just one to pick on?
3. Add driftwood
4. Any other suggestions?

try number 2 and 3, add more and break up the line of sight.

Adding a cpl more dats to spread out the aggression and adding some structure to break up the lines of site and create some hiding places are all good ideas.

I have some old driftwood that I haven't used in a few years. Is there anything I need to do to make sure it is safe to use now? Thanks.

I would boil it before I put it in my tank.

fine to use old drift wood if you know no deadly chemical was dripping on it ... plus you might have to weigh it down

Wow, nice dats. Wish mine were as large. Do the 3 and 4, and it wouldn't hurt to throw in more than 2.
