I went to check out that Dat the person called me about yesterday, well when I got there the thing was floating almost on his side in this 10 gallon tank with bunch of African Cichlids picking on it. The thing about him is that his side is wounded pretty bad but I still want to make sure does that look like a wound to you or some kind of a parasite? Next to that one big one he has some smaller wounds not too far from there as well.

Should I throw some salt in the tank?

Also I had to take him home on a bus and the ride was somewhere around an hour and shaking the bag the whole time basically. Once he got home he looked like he was going to die.. but once I threw him in the tank he start swimming around and being very active to my surprise. All the fish I ever introduce to a new tank will sit in the corner hiding from everyone. This guy swam up to my Convict right away and pushed him a bit.. then started swimming around checking out the tank. Was running away like crazy from me and the camera though. :p Ill try to take better pictures in a few hours...

Good luck!

Put him in a hospital tank (5-10 gallons), crank the temp to mid 80's, add a tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons and maybe some methylene blue or other anti fungal/bacterial medicine.

ILL take it if u wanna unload it

Congrats on the great pickup.

Hold on to him for a while, theyre great fish.
