Dat ???s

Someone wants to give me a 5-6" dat. I believe it is the siamese or pulcher variety. What I am wondering is will this dat get along with similarly sized frontosas? I also have 5 x 4-5" clown loaches that I don't want being lunch. The loaches are too big for my 13" silver arowana at the moment. Also, I'm not sure what he's been eating, but my fishes diet consists of alot of superworms and fresh yellow perch fillets. D'ya think this will be ok?? I definitely don't want to feed live feeders.

at that size chances are very slim to be a pulcher since they've been extinct in the wild for awhile......more probable an indo (post pics)....as far as compatibility, depends on the individual fish, but it might work, i've seen dats and fronts before.....GL

Thanks nomad, yer the only one who responded. It ended up being an NGT. So far the 2 big male fronts have bullied him a bit, but I'm changing the aquascape in a few days and he should be more comfortable. His coloration is great, especially for being introduced into such a busy tank as mine. He was a bit beat-up when I got him and he's healed very well over the past couple days. I think it should work out fine.
