HELP Plz

Can someone help or have any ideas how to stop it when dat scratching themself nonstop...

One of my small Indo start scratching himself against on side of the tank, anything that they can scratch on....
And the scratching continue more and more....
Tempt 84degree
add pimafix 2day ago but the scratching is getting worst....

What can I do????? Any info on this, i would appreciated...

Thanks

If no visible parsites, I would do an immediate 50% WC. Clean filters completely. A little aquarium salt, maybe a lil melefix as well. Don't feed the tank for a 2 or 3 days. This worked for constant dat flashing in the past and most other problems. I would turn the temp down a few degrees also.

It shouldn't hurt the tank Tommy to combine the two. Maybe other members can chime in with their experiences with pimafix and melafix. I pretty much just use salt, but i know they do have benefits. I think the #1 thing with an injury is to give him the cleanest water possible. Any nitrites or ammonia in your water will be his worst enemy. Again don't feed the tank till the wound starts healing unless you put him in his own hospital tank. Gd luck bro

Check for ammonia. Did you use proper dosage of conditioner when doing water change? Chlorine burn or ammonia burn made them scratch. Pimafix won't do any good, may make it worst. Use API conditioner, salt, and if possible, drop temp to 78-80

i always used proper doses of water conditioner when it come to do a water change...What about melafix,,will that help???? thx

Just salt and API Stress Coat (I'm sorry that I said conditioner). Lower your temp. May I ask if you use Prime?

if its not ammonia or disease i would guarantee its because you need to add more current to the tank... i had the same issues until i added a water circulator.... the fishes slime coat gets messed up without enough current and they begin scratching
