so im getin a 54g corner tank and was thinking of buying a few dats to grow out in it. If i got three 1" indo dats how long could i keep them in there? the dimensions of the tank are 38"-27"-22". also could i keep them with a few angelfish?

Dats are very slow growing so i think that you'd be ok for a few years, i wouldn't keep normal angels with them, i'd have Altums.
alright, thanx for all the info but now i got a few more questions, if i got silver dats could they live in the tank for life? and do silvers prefer fw or bw and are they generally more expensive or cheaper than indos?
silvers need bw i believe and i think the max out around 18", i just saw an indo the other day that was close to 24". the silvers here are cheaper than the indos
