I moved my silver Dat 2 days ago from a 55gal to my 180gal . He seemed super happy the first day but is now swimming around aimlessly and bumping into things he seems like he doesnt even see me out the tank. The parimetrers are all good and exactly the same as the tank I moved him from, the only difference is the tank i moved him from had discus and angel fish and was 3degrees warmer and he is now with 2 gar and 2 fire eels .
I had this same thing happen with 2 discus i had purchased last year and they died within 3 days . I was told at the time it was because i put the 2 German discus in with discus from other places and they couldn't handle the bacteria the other discus carried . I did a 50% water change , added some salt and put a bunch of almond leaves in the tank last night . Do you have any thoughts on what this could be or what I can do ?
