Datnoid and emperor cichlids

be prepared.... the emperors may outgrow the datnoid and they may then pick on it and/or eat it.

Assuming you're talking about real emperor cichlids then you'll be needing a tank at least 3x that size.!

More than that. Not only are they the largest cichlid in the world but they are also very much open water fish that need plenty of space to swim. I don't know your experience level with cichlids are but going by the fact you posted in this sections tells me a bit...

All I am going to say is make sure those fish get a nice big home when they get larger and I will leave it at that.

They are the second largest at 30". Emperors can hit 3ft.

I think datnoid are only kept with ca,sa so that's why it's here an I have 70 African cichlids currently in pretty sure in not a noob at this. Just don't know much about these fish. Trying to branch out to bigger predator.
