my IT has 5 bars on one side and 6 on the other.

No...it's fine. That's how ITs usually look. Some have that "split bar" look to them. It doesn't indicate anything.

The different number of bars is what makes them unique along with the oddly shaped bars.I have an Indo with three bars on one side and six bars on the other.
