Datnoid care im new to this need some advice

I have some datnoids and i was wondering since im new to having them. and i was curious what are water temps have to be also what does the ph level
also i have some questions one of them is using the tank to hold its self up and i wanted to know if that was normal? since i have never had them before i couldn't tell what the problem might be. And one of them is like scraping their side against the substrate of the tank and i wanted to know if that was normal or if its the Gill worms they can get??

one general thing , you should research first before you buy ._. especially if they aren't cheap fish either, would be a shame to have em suffer while you learn.

anyway, around 80F , around pH 7 would be pretty basic water condition.
