well my indo attacked my ngt and now he has popeye and theres a red thing that growing under the eye. its getting worse....
hes in a 10 gal with salt. but doesnt seem like its helping. should i use melafix? or is there a better medication to this problem....
anyone ever see this be4?

I would put some aquarium salt in it...i had my 3.5 AT do tha same thing to a 3" At and pulled its eye out b4 i had time to get a qt tank it lived for a month till i put him back and the same one came back an killed it

Doing daily water changes helps a lot. Since this is 10g, it should not be tedious to do that job. That is how I often nurse injured fish. It looks the dat's eye got fluid buildup aside from being infected after being attacked. What are the water parameters of the 10g tank right now?
