First off, I would like to say hi to everyone as this is my first post as a new member. Please bare with me as I am brand new. I am open to all and any suggestions as I think it is important to learn from those who have experience. So here it goes:
I have a 100 gallon tank that has been set up for a couple of months now. I have a 4.5 in tiger oscar, a 3 in Jaguar Cichlid, five 2in long tailed ruby barbs, and a 1.5 in Indonesian datnoid. When I got the Datnoid (affectionately named Nelson by my girlfriend) I was returning a rowdy green terror. At the time, I didn't think of the datnoid growing slow and the oscar much faster, and that eventually the oscar would be big enough to possibly eat the Dat. My gut tells me to either get rid of the Jag and the Oscar (which would leave a very empty 100 gallon) or get ride of the datnoid (which I am extremely attached to). All suggestions and ideas are greatly appreciate it, and I am excited to be a new member of this community
