This disease started out with a few pimples on the dats. I researched and took everyone advice to add salt. Now it's day 8 and the disease had caused lesions and pop eye. Here is a pic of it. Any info on treatment would be greatly appreciated.

That's some pretty rough stuff there.Ive never seen it cause eye problems, and you say more than one dat is affected?

Put it in quarantine. I found datnoids to take a long time to heal.
Hell, one of my NTT has hole in the heads, was in quarantine for a month and never healed. It wouldn't eat and was stressed out in the quarantine tank, decided to just put him back with the others. HITH still hasn't healed and he might be scared for life. None of my other dats have it though.
I first used salt and heat, and other medicine (Paraguard, API General Cure, Metro+). Never have any success

there was another IT dat in the tank for about two dats. I moved it to different tank and its thriving. I hope he pulls through

This kind of stuff usually happens to the NTT's,hope you are able to save them.

I had a few get them pimples and then pop. I would treat with salt, pimafix, melafix, big water changes and alot. Over time they would go away. I read something years ago about it being a cross between two things... Bacterial and protozoan

I treated by taking fish out dabbing spots with hydrogen peroxide using a qtip and then applying a small amount of bacitracin. Bumped up temp to mid 80's and used a lot if aquarium salt. I dosed tank every day with salt1 tbsp per 5g. 50% WC every other day. It worked for the cysts not sure what's going on with eyes though
