Datnoid feeding

Cut the fillets into tiny bite size pieces with something sharp. When you approach the tank and he rises, drop a piece of fillet in. If he eats, repeat the process. If he spits, then retry again later. If he doesn't rise at all when you approach or at least pay attention to what your doing, you may have other issues with him
Did you buy him recently? Has he eaten anything since you've had him or at least showing interest to eat?
I've never had to starve a datnoid to get him to eat fish fillets. What kind of datnoid do you have?
I'm having trouble converting my small indo as well. The only thing it will eat are bloodworms and live feeders... Tried starving it for 1.5month to the point that it looked almost like a swimming skeleton instead of a fish, and then I gave in and started feeding it bloodworms again... It really sucks because it is impossible to get any growth out of him in this way
