Datnoid hand feeding.

So I was trying to hand feed my new rays to ensure they were eating and almost the second I get my hand in the water with the earth worm my 9in AT comes over and steals it out of my hand (i've been trying to starve him to take shrimp).

has anyone else been able to hand feed a dat?

One of my dats would feed ONLY if fed by hand. It was on shrimp....was cool at first but it got old. I sold it because I was tired of always having to hand feed it.

Also the water splashes like mad if I hand feed. So I can't be bothered now.

Well,it is uncommon for them to hand feed.Mine,like most dats is a very moody fish and it will not take from me all the time....Out of the five that I have,it is the only one that will.
