Where palm trees sway
I currently have:

3 x 3" Leopard Cactus pleco
1 x 2" Flash pleco
1 X 3" L183 starlight pleco
3 x 2" albino bushy nose plec0

Wanting to add 5 x 4" Indo dats into a 125 gallon tank.

is this a good idea or will the dats in the future eat these plecos?

That combo should be fine, just remember that the dats will most likely hide behind the driftwood you have in there for the plecos. Just as long as the pleco's aren't small enough to be eaten by the dats, they will get along just fine.

eh.. make sure the Datnoid is smaller than the pleco...

I've had friends who raised plecos with Datnoid.. and the Dats were bigger.. ended up eating a few young plecos.. so beware of your
3 x 2" albino bushy nose pleco and the flash pleco since they are all only 2"

Thanks to all! My fear is when both the plecos and dats get to their full size. will a 12+" datnoid eat some of the plecos that will only get as big as 5 -6"

If you keep all of those fish in the 125, there's bound to be some issues when they all get full grown.

Umm, maybe. Good luck keeping 5 full grown indo dats in a 125 with 8 other fish. I wouldn't even keep 1 full grown indo in a 125.

Dats take a long time to grow, but if you leave them in a 125 for life, they'll probably be badly stunted or dead before they reach full size.

If you plan on keeping all 5, I would plan on upgrading your tank.

That said, my indos only chase my other indos and never do real damage. They don't even pay attention to the other fish in the tank.
