Hi I have a datnoid that on its right eye it has red streak and little red residue inside its lens, it looks like it can see fine. The water parameters ammonia was high in the original tank, I have move it to my larger stable tank and add salt and metafix. Anybody know what decease that is or just salt will do just fine? thanks mfkers

So ammonia was high in the tank is was previously in? And you moved it to a better tank?

If that is the case, clean water should heal him up, but it will take time.

I really hope so, any chance its a bacterial or parasite infection? New Tank is being treated with salt as we speak...

the white cover is not very hard to cure but the red part looks pretty scary to me. It looks some kind of bacteria infection.

happened to a NTT of mine, didnt make it. the eye ball looked like it was being eaten away and eventually "popped"
