datnoid microlepis growth rate

hi all, I've had my indo for 2 years now and looking for info on the above ,I have had him from a 1" baby and now is 9" long to the base on the tail so 9" body is this good growth and do they grow at the same rate every year or slow down as they get older ???

Growth rate will vary depending on if you starve them to get them onto pellets. Diet, water changes, tank size, parasites and how often you feed will also determine growth rate. Some people have gotten small indos to the 18inch mark in 3-4years. I got a 5inch Indo last year to grow another 5inches in less than a year but have had others grow slower.

Yeah but you can get him growing faster if you wanted to probably. What’s its diet?
