datnoid on pellet diet?

Anybody here feeding their dats with a diet of mainly pellets?
i have 3 pcs 2 inch datnboids which have learned to take pellets, they are currently with my angelfish and almost everyday their diet is pellets, but once or twice a week i try to feed them shrimps or frozen fish, will pellet diet be bad for them? current pellets i usually feed them is tetra bits.
I'll try to get some hikari cichlid pellets.

all i feed my datnoid is pellets. i will occasionally give market shrimp but i think it'd rather have pellets when i do feed the shrimp.

i never used process food... my dat diet consist of shrimp, tilapia, krill and bloodworm. pellets often have lots of wheat filler... or not the protein content i want.

i have 3 datnoids on pellets. just soak the food in what they are eating now to make it smell like the original food and than feed it when its soggy. thats what i did to my dats that were on frozen

Carnivore and massivore is the "1" if my dats took Them I'd be happy but there just taking shrimp and smelt

once my dats started taking pellets, they grew a lot faster compared to the ones that havent taken pellets yet.

thanks. I just bought some Hikari Cichlid excel , hope my datnoids accept them as well, currently my datnoid takes Hikari oranda pellets and Tetra bits.

really? Have you looked at the back of a bag of massivore or nls?

Do some research.
