average price i would say for 1" indos. you could get cheaper, but thats average. i got 10 of mine for $13 each, 8 for $20 each, and 5 for $6.50 each. all at LFS

i know aquatic warehouse is selling so called "tiger dats" (written on the tank) for $19.99 and their color and stripes are f'd up! most of them are all black or black/orange marble looking! might be inbreed! im not sure if thats how juvenile dats look but it wasnt nice! next time im there ill take pics!

The black or black/orange marble is typical for unhappy dats. The fact that they are dark at the lfs does not mean that they will remain that way when brought home, but it is not a good sign either, since baby dats can be a bit delicate.

after this post i did some research and your right!... i went back and got 2 of the most decent ones and now their stripes/colors are solid! the guy that helped me even told me that they were unstable and a good amount had died since they got them... im new to the whole datnoid thing but im pretty sure itll be a great experience!
