What would be the ideal tank set-up and filtration for 3 small dats in a 55g?

If there's no other tankmates moderate filtration should be fine. I used 2 AC70's for my small dats in a 55. Worked fine. I went with barebottom but sand is another gd option. Maybe a few tall fake plants for decor should work out gd. I would avoid decor that could possible blind your dats. They chase & bump their eyes which is common with dats. Limit hiding spots. The more they see you, the more they will feel comfortable to eat. gd luck

Currently have 2 IT, 1 AT, one albino longfin pleco and a flounder....which I haven't seen for about a week it is just a grow out i'm upgrading to a 150g+ in one to two years depending on how fast they grow. I currently have an aquaclear 50 hang on back filter and an undergravel filter. Would a power head or wave maker be good to have? Do thrive in a strong current?
