im growing out 8 dats in a 75 and the only water circulation I have is my 2 xp3 spraybars that are at the waterline...is this enough or should I add a powerhead or air disc? I see alot of dat tanks with powerheads.

i have two k4s on my 125 but thats just cuz i keep loaches in thier along with my dats i dont think thiers a problem with keeping them in slower currents as long as its filtered well

Should be fine. I have 2 Fluval 405s on a 75g with Dats and all is well.

i have 2 fx5's pushing the water around but i also have a koralia 4 powerhead and my largest dat likes to swim right in front of it.
but i think it is down to prefrence as my other dats sit where there is no fast flow.

as long as you have enough water movement at the surface to create enough oxygen in the tank i'm sure the fish wont be too bothered about current.
